Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled & experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Node.js, Angular, Nest.js, and MSSQL to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that power our logistics operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our technology solutions align with business goals and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop scalable and maintainable software applications using Node.js, Angular, Nest.js, and MSSQL.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members and incorporating feedback on your own work.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality and data exchange.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement automated tests and continuous integration processes to ensure software quality and robustness.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications and manage cloud infrastructure as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our technology stack.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Angular, Nest.js, and MSSQL.
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Prior experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus.
